Kenyatta's Corner

This is a window into my world, my thoughts and ideas about love, life and pain. I have been writing poetry since the age of thirteen and I have used my poetry to help me with the joy and pain of life. I hope you enjoy sharing my life story.

I still remember

in my mind
I remember every
word you ever
spoke to my heart

in my heart
I still feel the pain
of your love
lost in time

in my eyes
you see the remnants
of a shattered dream
from the love of you

in my arms
you feel the weight
of hands that have
held together a broken heart.

my smile has
become a permanent
frown and my love
has run astray.

but I still remember
the day, you told me
that you loved me.

I still remember
the day, you held me
in your arms
I still remember
the day, you cheated on me
and destroyed my family

so sad, too bad
that I still remember
the day

when I thought you
destroyed me.

you are
a
moment
frozen in
my
heart
my
sole
possession
2 me
a work
of
art

fragile
strong
unbending
yielding
all
the
same
a moment
frozen
4 ever
timeless
seamless
in my
brain

you
are
a
moment
frozen
real
a
work of
art
though
again
2gether
we
doomed
2
never
in
my
heart
we r
never
a
part
